If a trade doesn’t settle by its deadline, it ends without you doing anything: the relayer sends each step for you, and your funds come back. No fee is taken. How it works is on Cancels and refunds.

What you’ll see

On the trade page:
  1. Deadline passed: a cancel can start.
  2. Cancel claimed: the cancel window is open. A payout can still land in this window.
  3. Refund on its way: the cancel finished on the ad chain; the refund follows on the order chain.
  4. Cancelled: done. The Bridger’s deposit is back, and the Maker’s lock is back in the ad.

Finish it yourself

You don’t have to wait for the relayer. When a step is ready, the trade page offers it under Finish it yourself: Each is a transaction from your wallet, and it costs gas only. If a step was already sent by someone else, sending it again just fails; the page updates on its next read.

Save the proofs

Save the proofs for this trade downloads a file with every proof the remaining steps need. Keep it: with it, the proof steps can still be sent even if the relayer goes away.

Funds waiting for you

If a payout couldn’t be delivered to your wallet, it’s held for you as a claimable balance. The trade page shows Funds waiting for you; click Claim your refund to withdraw it. Returned dispute bonds show up here too.
