On a test network you need test tokens before you can post an ad or place an order. The faucet mints 1,000,000 whole tokens of a test token to your signed-in wallet on that token’s chain. The relayer answers at once with a claim id and mints in the background; you poll the claim until it is confirmed or failed. The faucet runs only on chains whose key registry says they are a local or test network. Anywhere else it refuses with 403 faucet-not-testnet.

Request test tokens

POST /v1/faucet/request. Uses the strict rate limit (10 a minute per IP).
There is no address field. The tokens always go to your linked wallet for the token’s chain kind, so link that wallet first (Authentication). Response 202:
Show message. When the faucet recently had trouble on that chain, the message warns that delivery may be delayed or fail.
  • The amount is fixed. 1,000,000 whole tokens, scaled by the token’s decimals.
  • Balance limit. If your wallet already holds 10,000 or more of the token, the request is refused. There is no time-based cooldown.
  • One claim at a time. While a claim for the same token is still running, a second request answers 409 claim-in-flight with the running claim’s claimId. Poll that claim instead of showing an error. claimId is null only if the claim finished in between; then ask again.
  • Test tokens only. The faucet calls the token’s open mint, which only the test tokens have. On any other token the claim ends FAILED.

Claim status

GET /v1/faucet/claims/:id. :id is the claimId from the request. You can read only your own claims; another user’s id answers 404 like an unknown one.
Poll every 2 to 5 seconds and stop on CONFIRMED or FAILED. A mint has 3 minutes to land; a claim still not final 10 minutes after it was made (for example after a relayer restart) is set FAILED with Claim stalled — the faucet may have restarted. Please try again. After a timeout, check the balance before retrying: the transaction may still land. Claims are deleted 7 days after they were made.
