# Supported networks and routes

> The chains ProofBridge runs on, the token routes between them, and how tokens pair across chains

ProofBridge settles trades between **Ethereum** and **Stellar**. Each
chain runs the same set of contracts, and every route works in both
directions.

**Soak**

Soak runs on **Ethereum Sepolia** and **Stellar Testnet** with test tokens only.

## Networks

> **Ethereum Sepolia**
>
> Chain ID: **11155111**
>
> Solidity contracts. Native ETH is wrapped automatically on deposit
> and unwrapped on payout.

> **Stellar Testnet**
>
> ProofBridge chain ID: **1000002**
>
> Network passphrase: **Test SDF Network ; September 2015**
>
> Soroban contracts. Supports native XLM, Stellar Asset Contracts (SAC)
> and SEP-41 tokens.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Stellar has no numeric chain ID of its own. ProofBridge gives each
> Stellar network a fixed ID so orders can name both chains the same way.

## Routes

Tokens pair across chains by value: what you deposit on one chain, you
receive on the other, less the [bridge fee](https://docs.pfbridge.xyz/v3/concepts/fees.md).
Amounts are aligned across different token decimals automatically
([decimal scaling](https://docs.pfbridge.xyz/concepts/decimal-scaling.md)).

**ETH ↔ wETH**

| Sepolia → Stellar | ETH (wrapped on deposit) | wETH (SEP-41) |
| Stellar → Sepolia | wETH (SEP-41) | ETH (unwrapped on payout) |

**XLM ↔ WXLM**

**PB**

You connect with your wallet. There are no accounts, usernames or KYC.
Your wallet address is your identity, and the trade terms are enforced
by the contracts on each chain.
